At Mountain Mushing, we offer a variety of tours to accommodate the desires and dreams of all of our guests. Located at Panorama Mountain Village we are close to Radium Hot Springs and Banff National Park, with daily transportation available from Banff. 

 

No matter what your expectations or experience level are we have the guides, the dogs, and the professional experience to provide you with a world class adventure and memories to last forever. Each tour is packed full of entertainment, you will receive insightful information into the world of sleddog sport and the bond between the mushers and their dogs. The guides will share with you their stories of travelling these mountain trails with their dog teams.

 

Guests will have the opportunity to handle and drive their own dog team or relax in the comfort of their sled. All tours offer spectacular mountain views and unlimited photo opportunities.

 

 

Delphine Creek Trail-Half Day Program

The Delphine Creek trail offers guests a half day dogsled tour. This tour begins with our educational program presented by our experienced guides. Guest will be educated in the practices of dogmushing and have the opportunity to ask questions of their guides who have travelled thousands of miles by dogteam, provided hundreds of tours, and competed internationally at competitions such Alaska’s Iditarod. The tour travels the valley trails, through pine and fir forests, over frozen creeks towards the Delphine Glacier. The views are spectacular.

• Tour length is approximately 3 hours with transfer from Panorama Mountain Village and covers up to 8 miles
• Cost is $170 for adults plus tax (12%), based on two guests per sled
• Cost is $130 for children plus tax (12%)
• Departs Toby Creek/Panorama at 10:30am, 1:30pm, and 4:00pm daily

Dogsledding - Snowmobile Adventure Basin Combo-Full Day Program

This combo tour will be an unforgettable mountain adventure as you experience our two most popular tours in one day in pristine mountain wilderness.

 

• Dog Sledding - Sit back and take in the breathtaking scenery or mush your own dog sled team on the Delphine Glacier Trail.
• Snowmobiling - Spend 1/2 day exploring the snow-covered mountains on brand new Arctic Cat touring snowmobiles. Snack included. Free play time.

Restrictions:

Total sled weight not to exceed 400 pounds. Adult pricing is based on a minimum of 2 adults per sled. Sled accommodates 2-3 adults depending on availability. Those wishing to be single dogsledders, the cost is $290 and $479 for the Combo. Minimum participant age is 5 years old.
